The origin of the Goddesses is related to the creation myths of the world. The feminine principle is associated with the birth or emergence of the cosmos, hence the concept of Mother Goddess or Mother Earth. There are many myths that leave us a representation of the Goddesses far removed from what is traditionally associated with the feminine, relating them to war, hunting, domination, violence and power. We can take the example of the Amazons as a reference for attributes, wrongly called, masculine. Once again, this serves to make us realize how we were not created to be submissive and to be relegated from positions of power and leadership. Those who use conservative arguments to justify a sexist and patriarchal society should look back at history from ancient times to realize that we did not come to this world to serve them.
