Caring for your jewelry

Caring for your jewelry is essential to maintain its timelessness and allow you to enjoy it in all its splendor and brilliance.

We make our jewelry with 24K gold plating or 925 silver plating with a special protective layer to preserve and extend the life of the plating.

Gold-plated or silver-plated jewelry is more fragile and susceptible to tarnishing over time. Factors such as your skin's pH level, the use of chemicals, chlorine, salt, or perspiration can accelerate the loss of the plating. Although all our jewelry is treated with a protective layer to prolong the plating, we offer some tips for caring for your jewelry.

WATER

Avoid wearing your jewelry in the sea or pool.
Saltpeter, as well as chlorine, promotes the deterioration of pieces and affects the durability of the gold plating.

CHEMICALS

We recommend not applying perfume, alcohol, or cosmetics directly to the pieces. These products contain acids that affect the color and shine of the piece.

SPORT

It's advisable to remove your jewelry before physical activity, showering, and sleeping. We recommend avoiding exposing it to sweat and moisture.

JEWELER

Store your jewelry away from humid places (such as the bathroom) and avoid sunlight. We recommend using the original SB box and suede pouch to store it.

CHAIN

Always store your jewelry with the chains closed to prevent tangling or damage.

CLOSURES

Be sure to check the condition of the clasps on your earrings and chains often.

HITS

Pay attention to your movements, as any blow could damage it.

KEEP

If you are not going to wear your jewelry for a long period of time, it is always advisable to store it in airtight plastic bags, avoiding undesirable locations and conditions.
