A tribute to our mothers, to those of us who were born with only one or those who have lost one or both.
They insist on hiding and covering up the female breast, hiding it under censorship, and yet those of us born with female breasts have to undergo constant examinations, check them, and treat them. For eleven months a year, they censor us, and in October, they hang a pink ribbon on us.
With this piece, we reclaim the right to show our bodies without having to be sexualized and stigmatized. We want ourselves as free as our breasts and nipples.
